Inability to Print Order on the Thermal Printer

 

If, during the printing attempt, you see a message indicating that the print failed and prompting you to try again, along with the IP address of your thermal printer, please follow these steps:

Step 1 --> Refresh and log off from the Posit app on all your devices.

Step 2 --> Verify that you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

Step 3 --> Ensure that your mobile data is turned off and that you are using the Posit app only through your business’s Wi-Fi.

Step 4 --> Open a browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) and enter the IP address displayed in the error message when the order failed to print (e.g., 192.168.1.200).

If the thermal printer is connected to your business network, a similar screen to the one below should appear.

  *If the thermal printer is not communicating with your network, it is a network issue rather than a Posit application issue. In this case, you will need to contact your network technician. See the example below.
