Router Replacement/Change

 

  If your business’s router is replaced, you will need to inform your network technician, as the thermal printers have already been assigned static IP addresses.

For the printers to continue functioning and connecting with the new network, your network technician will either need to configure the new router within the same range as the previous one or update the static IP addresses on the thermal printers and in the Posit application's back office.

To update the IP addresses for the thermal printers in the back office, follow these steps:

Step 1 --> Go to Printers and Stations--> Printers, select the printer for which you want to change the IP address, and enter the new static IP.

Step 2 --> Once you have completed the changes, select "Save" in the upper-right corner, and then go to the Dashboard and select "Refresh PDAs."

Step 3 --> Refresh and log off on all your devices to update the system.
